TR-069

TR-069 is a CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP) used for managing remote CPE’s ( client Customer Premises Equipment) from an ACS(Auto-Configuration Server ) present at the service provider location. A very efficient tool for MSO’s to manage , configure , remote software upgrade and run remote diagnostics of the CPE’s ( which could be millions of devices depending upon the range covered by ACS). CPE manufacturers can collect the diagnostics and performance from the MSO for analyzing and improving the performance of the CPE’s.

Atto communication Pvt ltd’s TR-069 agent is a client library which shall to be integrated with CPE software. Attocom shall work with the client to support this effort. This agent shall provide the support for CWMP session management for the CPE. It is designed to be Device model and database agnostic. CPE has to provide the RPC’s required by the CPE. This agent can support various CPE’s like gateway, a LAN device or a device with customized data model like Set-Top Boxes, VoIP devices, Femto. It supports the latest TR-069 standards and amendments including TR-069 a3.
